Alyssa Coleman, MD
Dr. Coleman graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities as a dual degree recipient, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Studies. She attended medical school at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL. She subsequently completed an internship in internal medicine, followed by ophthalmology residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Coleman attained additional expertise in the management of ocular inflammatory diseases with the completion of a Uveitis Fellowship at the University of California-San Francisco Francis I. Proctor Foundation for Research in Ophthalmology.
In 2026, Dr. Coleman joined RCM to complete her Medical Retina fellowship. She is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.
